82% post consumer recycled material makes the ClimaFilm-100 unique

As winner of the German Packaging Award 2022, Floeter qualified for the World Star Packaging Award. The WPO is an organization whose mission is to contribute to the development of a sustainable global packaging community. ClimaFilm-100 won the award in two categories: E-Commerce and Packaging Materials and Components. The winners will be honored at the WorldStar Awards Ceremony at ProPak Asia in Bangkok on June 15, 2024.
ClimaFilm-100 air cushions are made from 100% recycled material, most of which (82%) comes directly from the end user’s disposal channels (PCR – post consumer recycled). ClimaFilm-100 has been awarded the „Blue Angel“ environmental label and is certified by Climate Partner. E-commerce is one of the fastest growing industries in the world with a wide variety of packaging applications used by many demanding customers. Due to the high content of household plastic trash in ClimaFilm-100, customers can save the recycling fee and the single use plastic tax in most of the countries, where a plastic tax is applicable. There is no comparable air cushion on the market that has a PCR content of 82% and is processed to an air cushion of less than 25μm, making ClimaFilm-100 unique in the world.
